A new ultra-compact mobile radio, ideal for modern vehicles where space is limited.

Multi-standard for use in all European countries, it covers both the original UK band plus the EU band, and operates on both FM and AM.

Unlike other compact radios this one has a detachable mic, and although it is on a "modular" plug you can still use other mics on it using one of our mic adapters (£8.95) to convert it to either 4 pin or 6 pin.

The radio is also supplied with a "quick release" mount.

A basic compact multi-standard radio - ideal for mobile use where you don't want all the extra features.

Like all the latest radios, this is a multi-standard radio so that it can be used in both the UK and most European countries. In the UK it covers all 80 legal FM channels, when use in other European countries it is also capable of operating on AM.

Identical in size to the no-longer-available Midland 38 and 98, we also have an optional "DIN" adapter for fitting the radio into a standard ISO-DIN radio slot.

The radio has only the basic controls you need: volume, squelch and channel change. There is also a preset "auto-squelch".

The channel display is a blue LED, rather than the more common LCD display. This has the advantage that it can be viewed from any angle, whereas LCD displays become faint when viewed at some angles (particularly from below).

The microphone has a 4 pin plug on it and does not have channel change buttons on it (which some customers like but others say they catch them by mistake).

A new ultra-compact radio from CRT, ideal where space is limited - the radio is only 10.2 x 10 x 2.5cm. You really don't appreciate how small it is until you see one.

Despite it's compact size this is a full power multi-standard radio, offering all the legal European bands including the UK 40 channels and the legal AM/FM European band.

The new "V" version has identical features to the original but now includes VOX (for hands-free transmit) and a s-meter in the LCD display which shows both receive signal and transmit power.

The next generation of CB, the first CB (that I know of) with a colour display!!

It's compact size should make it easy to fit in most vehicles - and with it being dual voltage (12/24V) can be easily connected in all vehicles.

Controls are kept to a minimum on the radio, but through the various menu options you can make many adjustments to the radio to optimise it's performance.

The radio is "multistandard" so covers both the UK channels, EU channels (both FM & AM) plus all other European bands for use outside the UK (eg Poland). The radio uses a "modular" type mic plug, but you can use a different mic on it by using one of our mic adapters (£8.95)

The radio can also be supplied "expanded" for use on 10m & 11m and covers approx 25-30MHz in this mode. When expanded the output power is selectable from 4W/8W/15W.

The radio can also be PC programmed, and an optional PC lead & software are available for an extra £14.95 when bought with the radio (available separately for £19.95).

A new version of the CRT 2000 listed above.  There are 2 differences with this model compared to the one above:
1.  This is 12v only, not dual voltage like the CRT 2000
2.  When expanded this model has a maximum output power of 40W !!

Compact multi-standard "hide-away" radio with all the controls in the microphone. Covering all the European bands, including AM channels where legal.

The body of the radio is constructed of aluminium and acts as a heatsink to ensure the radio remains cool wherever it is mounted.

The "microphone" includes a multi-function LCD display, the colour of which can be selected from red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, purple, white. The display shows channel number or frequency, s-meter, and various status indicators.

Despite it's size the radio offers a full range of features including scanning, memories, dual-watch and manual & automatic squelch.

Many of the features of the radio can be programmed by computer to give you a customised radio.

We can supply the radio ready programmed for whatever bands you prefer - but you must ensure that you only use the radio where your licence permits.  Because there are only 6 bands on the radio it can be programmed for either 10m (28-30mHz) or 11m (26-28mHz) but will not cover both at the same time.

Can be switched between 10m & 11m by key presses - without using software.

The facia is the same as the SS 7000, but the case is significantly smaller and contains a newly designed PCB.

The radio also has a built in VHF receiver, there are 99 channels that can be programmed within the range of 136-174MHZ (eg for 2m or marine).

A new high power compact 10m mobile radio, offering all the features you could ask for in a compact design ideal for mobile DX.

This latest version can now be programmed from 24.880MHz, allowing you to use it on 12m as well as 10m & 11m. Earlier versions could only be programmed from 25MHz upwards.

The radio is PC programmable and can also be programmed for any frequencies from 24.880MHz-30MHz (for use where allowed).
