The Albrecht AE 5900 Mini SSB delivers high-level CB radio performance in a compact design.

Despite its small size, it provides up to 12 watts of power in SSB mode and supports AM, FM, and SSB operation. Ideal for both in-vehicle and home use, it features a clear TFT colour display and dependable communication, enhanced by modern functions like digital noise reduction (NRC), VOX hands-free operation, and a repeater function. Whether you’re travelling or using it day-to-day, the AE 5900 Mini SSB is a powerful and flexible choice. As a Multinorm-approved CB radio, it is legal to operate across Europe.

We can offer the radio in either "standard" mode which covers the UK & European bands and is legal in the UK & Europe, or "expanded" to cover both CB & 10m & 11m bands (approx 25-30MHz) with higher output power. This is then only legal to use on 10m if you hold an appropriate Amateur licence, it is not legal to use on the CB bands.  To expand the radio we have to break the guarantee seal and so will invalidate the manufacturers guarantee.
