A higher power version of the Wilson 1000.
The differences between the 5000 and the 1000 are a larger coil (handling even more power) and the mag mount is fitted with Mini-8 low loss coax rather than the standard (high quality) RG-58.
There are other antennas that will outperform it, but in terms of quality and prestige it is certainly second to none.
