A new model echo/power microphone with the the advantage over similar models of twin large controls on the rear, making adjustment of the echo easy.
A unique feature on this mic is the "talk-back" facility. This allows you to hear yourself through your rig's speaker, so that you can monitor the amount of echo. The volume of the "talk-back" can be adjusted by a preset in the back of the mic (this facility works on most but not all radios).
Another feature not found on other models is the switchable "noise reducer" - this is designed to reduce the chance of picking up background noise when the mic is used in a noisey environment.
On test we have found the mic to give a very good echo effect - in fact when it is turned up high it is somewhat similar to a "melos" echo chamber (far too much to use on radio!)

The amount of echo can be varied using the slider on the front of the mic, from too much when set to maximum to none when on minimum (at which point it just acts as a power mic).
Twin presets in the rear allow you to adjust the output level (volume) and the echo delay. Being able to adjust the delay enables you to get the optimum sound from the echo.

Noise Canceling Amplified Microphone
A high quality amplified microphone from this famous USA manufacturer, with noise-canceling, ideal for mobile use.
Unlike many amplified mics, which are too sensitive and pick up every bit of background noise, these are designed especially for mobile use. The noise cancelling circuitry means that only sound close to the microphone (ie your voice) is amplified and background sounds (eg your engine) are not.
