Voltage Droppers

Voltage droppers are used in trucks to reduce the normal 24V supply down to the 12V required by CB's and accessories.

It is important to select a dropper with a large enough output to power all the items you wish to run from it, and since all manufacturers tend to exaggerate you should choose a dropper with an output at least 25% higher than you need.

A compact switch mode voltage dropper which had a cig lighter plug to plug into a 24V socket in the vehicle, and a 12V cig socket on the dropper for you to plug your equipment into.

Ideal for use with small B&W TV's and other small 12V accessories.

We have found that in some cases these switch mode droppers cause interference on CB's and so can affect your reception.

A compact switch mode voltage dropper which has a cig lighter plug to plug into a 24V socket in the vehicle, and two 12V cig sockets on the dropper for you to plug your equipment into.

Each socket is rated at 4A, giving a maximum output of 8A.
