A brand new design from Intek - a radio designed for hands-free mobile use!  The radio is multi-standard to cover both the UK channels and those of most EU countries.

It is supplied with a standard microphone but also an earpiece mic and a remote PTT switch for hands-free operation.

It features a blue LCD display that shows channel number, frequency, country setting and signal meter.

Features include RF gain, Auto Squelch, adjustable VOX (voice activated TX) and remote PTT.

In transmit mode, the radio can be operated in three different ways :

• PTT mode with the standard microphone, just like any other CB radio
• PTT mode with remote PTT control and external microphone (headset)
• VOX mode with external microphone/headset (fully handsfree mode)

In receive mode, the radio can also be operated in three different ways :

• with internal speaker
• with external speaker
• with external earset

A compact rugged multi-standard handheld CB - covering both the UK and various European bands (including AM where permitted).

Designed to be easy to operate, with a minimum of controls on it. All it has are: volume, squelch, channel change, high/low power, AM/FM and lock buttons. The antenna is a BNC fitting rubber-duck.

An in-car adapter is available as an optional extra (same adapter as the H-520).

Unusually all 80 UK channels are on one band. The radio reads U01-U40 for the UK channels and C01-C40 for the European (CEPT) channels.
