This Newsletter consists of 10 pages, including 4 pages of Special Offers

appy New Year!  Yes I know it's a bit late, but this is our first newsletter for 2004 so it's our first chance to welcome you to the new year.
I hope you enjoyed a good Christmas and New Year, and that 2004 has started the way you wished. What 2004 will bring for CB we will have to wait and see, but I have a feeling it could be quite a good year.
Together with this newsletter you should receive our new 2004 price list - packed with the largest selection of CB equipment available anywhere. More details on that later.
As usual for the first newsletter of the year this one will be briefer than others because we have been busy putting the new price list together, meaning this newsletter will be rushed out in less than a week from me starting to type this.
2004 is looking like a very busy year for us - we have a lot planned including a massive update of our website to include full online shopping with details of 100's of items listed.

he "Scanners & Accessories" page has been taken out of our new 2004 price list. This has been done because we needed the space to include all the new Amateur accessories which we now stock.
We still stock just as many scanners, and probably more accessories, than ever. We will be producing a separate price list to cover all these, and we would be pleased to send you a copy if that is your interest.
We are not too keen on selling scanners by mail order, we much prefer to have the customer in the shop so that we can demonstrate the scanner and answer any questions about it. They are not always the easiest of things to use!

ith the increase in postage costs over the past few years, we now find that there is very little difference is cost between using the Post office or a carrier to deliver radios. So from now on all radios will be despatched by carrier - meaning that you will usually receive your new radio the next working day!
Standard postage only covers you for £28 if your radio is lost or damaged - and there's not many radios for that price now!  By the time you add the cost of extra insurance you are close to the price of carrier delivery, which is not only more secure but can be tracked right to your door.
With only a pound or two difference in price (at the most), there seems little point risking loss, damage or delay for that small amount of money.
All radios will now be sent either by carrier or special delivery at a cost of £7.95.
