ome of you who frequent the UK CB Newsgroup on the internet will have seen the recent "abuse" which we received there.
Although I am not going to waste time/space here going into the specifics, I would like to thank those of you who offered "support" (both on the newsgroup and in telephone calls etc).
I was also pleased to see how many of the newsgroup users could "see through" this person, even those users who knew nothing about either us,  this "abuser", or the items being discussed.
This "abuser" tried to fool users by posting under several false names, all making false claims of bad service etc. It was pleasing to see that most users spotted this attempted deception straight away, not only from the email headers but also from his mastery of the English language.
I have no problem with anyone making any complaint public (although you often find that civilised private discussion would bring better results), but when someone blatantly lies and makes false claims I really have no time for them.

There is currently a shortage of best quality PL259's, and I am not sure whether there will be any more. We have managed to obtain a reasonable supply of 6mm, but are now sold out of 7mm and 9mm. There is no shortage of standard quality PL259's in all sizes.
Back in stock at last are the accessories for the Maycom AH27. We have the MA-01 car adapter back in stock for £14.95, but the 12v Nicad pack has unfortunately increased in price slightly to £25.95.
We have a limited stock of Original Firestik antenna left in stock, in sizes from 2ft to 4ft. These are all supplied "loose" (without card/packing) and may have an odd "mark" on them where they have knocked together in their boxes. They are offered at quite a considerable reduction on their current new price. Prices are £8.95, £9.95 and £10.95 respectively for the 2ft, 3ft, and 4ft.
Also just arrived are new stock of the 2ft Firestik-2 (with tunable tip). Unfortunately the price has now increased to £15.95 !
Back in stock after being unavailable for a short time, we have MRF455 transistors. These are still only £16.95 each, with quantity discounts available for 4 or more.
Also back in stock are the Midland 48 Excel. Although we were only out of stock of these for about 2 weeks, some shops did not have them for over 2 months!!
