e have now sold out of the Team Euro-8000 80 channel base station and it is uncertain at present whether we will be having any more. At £129.00 these radios were a reasonable buy, but the radio has now returned to it's original price of £179.00 and I do not feel that it is worth this much. We have also now sold out of the Albrecht AE497s 10m Amateur base station. After testing these, we have decided that in most circumstances it is better to use the mobile Albrecht and a separate psu, so we will not be stocking any more of the base stations. However, if you are looking for a homebase, we usually have a selection of second hand sets available. At the time of writing this we had the following in stock: Harvard, Harrier, Audioline, Uniden and even a big Midland 76-900.

ncluded with this newsletter is a list of some of the second-hand equipment which we had in stock at the time of printing. Unfortunately stocks can change quickly, so please check availability before ordering anything. All the used equipment we offer comes with a full 30 day guarantee, this gives you plenty of time to thoroughly test out anything you buy. However we do test all equipment before putting it on sale, and service all radios, so we find it very rare for us to receive any claims under our guarantee. Our used radios can not be compared with those bought "over the air", the majority of which have had some "screwdriver expert" inside, and are either off frequency, over-modulating or simply messed up. We try to keep an up to date listing of used equipment on our website at: www.kcb.co.uk/sechand.htm
