This newsletter consists of 7 pages.

ince our last newsletter in February there has been  very little new on the CB market and very little news about CB in general, so it looks as if this newsletter could be a little on the short size. However we have loads of special offers to tell you about, so hopefully you will find something of interest in these pages.
The last few months have only seen one new rig appear, the Team Homebase. We still wait for the  arrival of the Cobra sets and also a couple of new Midlands. Hopefully in the next newsletter we will be able to report on new sets from both of these manufacturers.
The next few months should see much more activity, with the introduction of PMR446 "family radio" and hopefully several new CB's and accessories. As soon as they are available we will have them in stock, and details will be included in our next newsletter.
Our next issue will be out in August, by which time we will also know if we will be having another of our popular outdoor clearance sales. At this time we've no idea whether we will manage to organise one for this year, or whether the rain will ever stop to allow it.
Our quarterly newsletters are sent out completely free of charge to all our mail order customers who have placed an order in the last 12 months. If you are not a regular customer but would still like to be on our mailing list then it will cost you only £2 for a full year.

In the last newsletter I announced the launch of our new specialist components division, KCB Components.
The new division is aimed at customers, both private and trade, who buy larger quantities of spares or who need more obscure spares.
A full price list giving both single and quantity pricing for CB spares is now available on request. Please note that all KCB prices are plus vat, whereas our normal Knights list includes vat on all prices. Because of the specialist nature and the keen quantity pricing, we hope to issue updated catalogues every 2-3 months.
Included with this newsletter are some
special bulk offers which were available to KCB customers. These include mainly original Cybernet spares, of which we recently bought a large quantity. Some of the transistors work out at under 4p each and it is well worth buying some to keep in stock while available at these prices.
Please note that all the prices quoted in the KCB offers EXCLUDE VAT, please remember to add 17.5% vat to all orders for these offers.
Orders from the Knights and KCB catalogue can be despatched at the same time to save on postage costs, but please order on separate order forms because they do need to be processed and invoiced separately.
The full KCB price list can also be accessed on-line if you have internet access at:

n 26th April the Post Office increased their rates on all packages over 100g. Although they reduced standard second class (down to 19p) and froze standard 1st class (up to 100g) they increased all other prices, by an average of about 10%.
However we will not be increasing our rates, in fact I can now guarantee that there will be no increase in our postage rates until well into the new millennium.
We will also hold our next day delivery price at £7.95, despite recent increases by our carriers. This rate of £7.95 covers your order however big it is, even if your order consists of say 10 parcels !! So get value for money, make that next order a big one.

n September this year we will celebrate 18 years of selling CB equipment. This makes us one of the few CB retailers who have weathered all the up's and down's since 1981, and we remain committed to offering the largest range of CB equipment well into the next century.
To celebrate this achievement we will be having 18  very special offers in September. Details will be revealed in our next newsletter - so make sure you get your copy.

e hope that the new Cobra rigs will be arriving around  the middle of June. Whenever they are available you can be sure that we will be the first to have them in stock. Keep an eye on our web site for more details.
