Updates
Below are listed brief details on any new products and changes
to our website, in reverse chronological order:
21/7/08
During the past few months many suppliers have increased their prices, and
together with about a 20% increase in the cost of the Euro this has meant that
some prices have had to be increased. For the first time I can remember we have
had to produce a mid-year updated pricelist - this is available for
download or we can post you one on
request.
Over 95% of prices remain unchanged, but unfortunately others have had to
increase. We will do our best to keep all increases to a minimum.

We have changed the carriers we use from City Link to FEDEX. Hopefully these
will offer a better service and we have done this without increasing our
delivery charges.
We can also now send larger items by carrier to both Northern Ireland and Irish
Republic for only £17.95, delivery should be 3 working days.

Online shop has been updated, with a few new items and additions to our special
offers.

New 2008 version of the Superstar 3900 now in stock, with blue LED display &
blue meter light and heatsink on rear.
Ranger 2950 reduced in price to £229.
Taxi microphones added to online shop.

There have been a lot of additions to our online shop during the past 4 months
but I just didn't get around to updating this page!! New 2008 price list
will be available before the end of this month.

After almost a year, the
Maycom AH27
handheld is back in stock!! I still think this is probably the best CB
handheld ever made.

The online shop has been updated numerous times, but I have never updated this

The new handheld, the
Intek M-520
is now in stock.

An all new multi-standard handheld is due out at the end of May (hopefully).
Until it's official release we are sworn to secrecy, but it will be on our
website as soon as they arrive in the UK!

The online shop has been updated
regularly over the pat 3 months, but I've just never got around to updating this
page!
We have added a range of equipment from
Superstar - including the Superstar 3900 10m radio, power supplies
(from 3A to 60A), speakers and various accessories.

We are busy working on our new 2007 price list. Unfortunately there have been
quite a few price increases in the past year, however we are still managing to
reduce a few prices!

CB is now License Free. From today you no longer need a license to use a
legal CB in the UK. Will anyone notice the difference??

Two new antennas from Sirio added to online shop.
Performer P-5000 is a new high power mobile antenna, and the
Balcony 27-200 is a new compact base antenna that can be tuned for any band
from 27Mhz to 200MHz.

New TRUCKERS WEBSHOP open. Loads
of truck (and car?) accessories available - including interior/exterior lights,
horns, cool-boxes, TV's etc. Some very low online prices!

News of price increases across the Midland range of CB's - blamed on new ROHS
regulations. Prices will increase in July - so order now!
Other manufacturers are likely to follow as new stock arrives.

Moonraker Minor removed from sale. Our latest batch are giving out less than 2
Watts - so we have decided to remove them from sale. However, for just a
few Pounds more you can get a new 80 channel CB!

We have now sold out of both the Midland 38 and 98. Midland are very slow
producing a new batch - they have been out of stock since March of the 38 and we
are advised it is likely to be the middle of June before they have more!

Online Shop. These are probably the best quality radios currently available!

New improved version of the Team Roadcom now available. Changes made to LCD
display and "band" control moved from rear of radio to front.

including extended range of Kenwood, Yaesu and Icom amateur radios. A

Website now on new server and everything working OK! Hopefully it will be
both more reliable and faster.

Within the next week we are moving our entire website to a new server. Hopefully
this will improve speed and allow us to add new features. We hope there will be
no problems during the changeover!

Speaker (multi) plugs for the President Lincoln are
now back in stock. Unfortunately the price has increased to £2.95.
We also now have original mounting brackets for the President
Lincoln. The only problem is the price - £10.95 each.

MRF477 transistors now back in stock - and although still very expensive, they
are £5 cheaper than last time!! Limited stock now available at £34.95

Unfortunately at the same time the price of MRF455 transistors has shot up in
price - now £22.95 each.
